Easy, Durable Style
Quartz is one of the hardest surfaces on earth. It combines the durability of man-made materials with the beauty of natural stone, making it perfect for any kitchen or bathroom. While historically it doesn’t have the reputation of natural stone, it’s nonetheless one of the fastest growing materials used in the countertop industry. In many cases, quartz surfacing can meet or exceed the ratings of granite on just about any level.

Benefits
- Heat, stain, and scratch resistant
- Bacteria, mold, and mildew resistant
- Endless choices of color and patterns
- Nearly maintenance free

Design Options
Since quartz countertops are manufactured, the colors, patterns, and styles are uniform across the surface. Quartz comes in a large variety of styles that are almost identical to granite or marble and can match any decorating style or plan. Also, it is often used in vertical applications, which provides the ability to match backsplashes.
Quartz surfacing is scratch resistant; however, deliberate cuts can penetrate the surface. As well, the hardness reduces chips and cracking, but in extreme circumstances, both can still occur. Some quartz surfacing also uses recycled glass or other pre or post-consumer waste, so more “green” versions are available.
Decorative Edges
Beauty thrives in the details of your countertop. The consistency of quartz surfacing goes all the way through and thus allows for edge design of practically unlimited choice beyond the usual straight, beveled, bullnose and ogee styles. Finish your quartz countertop with an attractive edge that will complete your look.
